This has to be one of the most unlistenable bands to ever play. I have a real personal hatred for them. It also pisses me off when so many people that i know consider that guy Chester not only a good singer, but a great metal singer. Far more pleasing sounds have come out of my ass. Fucking rap metal. The Karl Logan quote on Radagasts signature says it all.

Linkin Park is just another version of the Backstreet Boys/Boy Zone etc, their is nothing relevant about their music in any way, shape or form, just a mindless concived pop band like Menudo.

And yes, after viewing that video I can honestly say that is one of the gayest things I have ever seen in my life.

Now I have to go play "Gods of war Arise" from AA 10 times to get it out of my head. I am going to take my shirt of and hurl a battleaxe as well.

I don't think that Linkin Park are that bad as far as pop music goes. I have a fairly neutral reaction to them. They sort of remind me of Alexisonfire but with rapping instead of screaming.

He does have a point though. Their music has about as much substance to it as a boy band. And their popularity lasted about 5 minutes.

I heard they were a good christian band who didnt feel the need to swear in their music but I saw a video of their cover of Nine Inch Nails's Wish and Chester said a dirty word so now I'm all disillusioned and gonna go cry :sad:

Metalness is right, they were put together and hand picked right down to that Chester guy as the vocalist. I have read about it.

You can like them if you want but just accept the fact that they are nothing more then a marketing ploy to make millions and a pop band on the same level as Boyzone or Backstreet boys and we can move on.

Seeing how you are a huge fan of later day Def Leppard and other pop/rock bands like that I can see why you would love the "park"

I am not delusional, I just don't like souless contrived music or waste my money on it.

Chester's vocals are so awesome. Linkin Park really captures all the anguish that I feel towards my parents and the world...:rolleyes:
