If they get rid of the female vocals they'd be much better imo.

Ahhhhh!!! Damn annoying female vocals. How can they think those sound good? An obvious +1 if they got rid of the female vocals they'd be good. So much potential to be really good.

Battle Metal is not a genre.

Now listening to the tracks. I'll be back with an opinion soon.

Pretty damn cool, but really could do without the female vocals. In the first song they're almost used in the Supermaket Metal harsh verse/clean chorus way.

My thoughts exactly. The chick sound out of place, more notably on Dryads & Trolls. But the music is really good and have potential so i'll wait till they release a full length album.




Well, what can i say, the band define themselves as epic fantasy battle metal and i'm cool with that. Besides i like calling Turisas battle metal. It sounds just so awesome.

It just pisses me off because Metal Hammer magazine uses the term all the time.

Basically any Power Metal band they like they will call Battle Metal but naything else is just silly dragon-bothering limp wristed Power Metal. Fag mag.

They also claim Turisas invented the genre but then inexplicably use the term to describe bands that debuted long before them.

I hate it when people say that to, battle metal is a battle of the bands for metal bands, not a music genre

Hmm, damn am I the only one who thinks that those female vocals actually sound good at times ? Anyway, considering it's only a demo they can still improve that sound.
I hope to hear from these people some day.
I see that they have a lady to play the bass as well.

I have seen Elexorien live twice, in the half year between those two gigs they improved quite a lot. They are still a young band but they already have played with some interesting bands and on festivals. The female vocalist has a nice voice, maybe it doesn't show so well in the demo songs but I think they are a band to watch for the future. They are doing their best to grow and become a succesful band.
