Since my CD player in my truck broke I've been listening to the radio on and off (mostly off). When "Dani California" and "The Pot" isn't on I occasionally heard this song that sounded like Veruca Salt (great band!). They would never say who sang the fucking song, though. Tonight, however, they mentioned it: Damone. Anyone ever heard this band? I've heard of them, but never knew they had a female singer—which, for me, makes certain bands playing alt-rock much easier to like.
Anyway, this is the song I kept hearing (I think it's awesome):

Check their page, they have a few albums, checking the songs they seem pretty cool. Definitely alt-rock, sometimes a little poppy, a little punk, some 80's rock moments, but very much in that Veruca Salt vein. They've got some pretty cool riffs, too.
