Folk Metal/ Rock Turisas Korpiklaani Butterfly Temple Skyclad Wuthering Heights Elvenking Circulus (indie folk) Tyr Falconer Falkenbach Ensiferum Wintersun Thyrfing Cruachan Some of these are Viking bands but have folk influences in their music Try Tommy peoples and sean Kane for traditional folk, aswell as Jpp and Troka. First, Skyclad, of course. To the stuart's list, I'd add: Fintroll... the polka-metal band, very funny. Windir. And, in the rock-folk (not metal), give a try to The Pogues (first three albums). |
