Nu-metal. Leave now!

Seriously, a lot of nu-metal isn't that good, I admit, but mixed in among that sea of mediocrity there was once a band called Flaw. They were like a melodic nu-metal band, heavy, but with some very melodic passages and vocals. It wasn't heartless like so much of the other nu-metal bands out there. They were one of the best nu-metal bands I've heard and I was sad to see them break up. Naming their second major label release
Endangered Species either proved to be prophetic or they knew what was coming beforehand.
Anyway, a while back I heard a song that clearly had Chris Volz singing—his voice is very distinct—so I thought Flaw had reunited. I then learned that it was a new band called Five.Bolt.Main, the band featured the vocalist and guitarist of Flaw. So Five.Bolt.Main essentially sounds like Flaw. That works for me! Anyway, I'm not sure how well this will go over here, but they're truly a great band, as was Flaw. One of the best nu-metal bands to ever record music, in my opinion. I hope Five.Bolt.Main continue to release music (although rumor is Chris Volz has some serious drug problems, not sure, though).
Give it a chance, you may dig it.
