I love the original (flame me) for its addictive melody and what the Zappa Bros did with it (which seems to have influenced this crappy version)

I had that argument before... the fact is Britney has nothing to do with the songs she sings... therefore I have no problem with metal bands covering her songs...

I don't like them, but they're good for what they are. I, too, like the Zappa Bros. cover (from the Ready To Rumble soundtrack, right?). Sugarcoma has a pretty cool cover of "Crazy." And Tristan Prettyman does a pretty nifty acoustic cover of "Toxic," which sounds nothing like the original and sounds really cool.
