after first being recommended this band over a year ago i finally checked them out, and i can tell you they are fuckin' great. the self-titled album features none other than SEAN REINERT and SEAN MALONE! it's a female singer (pretty good one too, imo), and instrumentally it's great (as you'd expect from the likes of Malone). hell, i have the attention span of a goldfish and this thing grabbed me by the balls. also has sitar, tabla, piano... seriously, check them out: http://www.aghora.org/ http://www.myspace.com/aghora |

I'll just say one thing - the bass work is incredible ![]() And the band is worth checking, as well as buying their albums ![]() |

They're a good band, but I'm more likely nowadays to stick some Obituary or Napalm Death on rather than listening to all these technical jazzy bands. Dull I am. |

I like some technical metal (although mostly instrumental stuff) but Aghora's metal parts are just really bad, to the point where I wish they'd just ditch their metal side and play prog/jazz fusion |
