![]() I don't like their early material but everything from "Help" (1965) to "Let It Be" (1970, though the 'naked' version of it was a lot better) was awesome ! so what is it gonna be for you metalheads ? HIT or MISS ? |

An obvious hit. They were one of my top bands in high school. I can still listen to "Strawberry fields" and enjoy it. Definitely a hit. |

I have Magical Mystery Tour. It's pretty goddamn good. Based on that and nothing else, Hit. |

Pepper, the White Album & Abbey Road which are even better than the Magical Mistery Tour (it has kick ass songs but it's different sessions and it shows too much imo, I like the real albums better) ho yeah, The Beatles were damn good. Greatest pop band ever ! ![]() |

I voted Miss because personally they've never done anything for me, but I, of course, know that I'm retarded in that thinking. |

Hit. I admit that I did not grow up with the Beatles at all. However I've heard some of their "Greatest Hits" (thanks to my friend's father) and liked what I heard in terms of originality and catchiness. I respect music that was the best of their time. |

I have most of their albums, but I don't listen to them anymore. Were a hit, but like having too much sweets, eventually you get sick of it. |

Yeah, some good songs, definitely better than the pop-music of today but I've never liked them that much. |

There are some good songs, but overall they never blew my whistle. Admittedly it's been years since I gave them a try, they may be better now, but I'm not too confident my opinion would change. |

I'm honestly not sure...they're pretty good but I always preferred the Rolling Stones. Lennon and McCartney both did pretty good solo stuff, and I like George Harrison, so overall....HIT. |

Lennon was too busy with Yoko Ono's underpants to care much about it... :? my advice : don't try anything before 1965... |

I'll vote HIT. I personally don't care for them, but I don't care for Pop music. I think Lennon wrote great lyrics, but the music isn't that great and is highly overrated. But, they were way ahead of their time, and are one of the most influential bands ever, so an obvious HIT. And, I'm sorry, but all of their solo work is some of the worst shit ever made. McCartney and Harrison just made standard, boring "Adult" Rock, Lennon and Yoko is just horrid, and Ringo, well he wasn't an original member so I'll let that one slide. |
