Boo Yaa Tribe is rapcore??

Anyway, some good rapcore bands:

Stuck Mojo
Downset (the band Rage Against The Machine ripped off)
Rage Against The Machine (second-rate Downset)
Bionic Jive
HEDpe (their last one sucked, though)
3rd Strike
Shootyz Groove
311 (sort of rapcore)
Senser
One Minute Silence (their first album, at least)

Um...that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I think of Rapcore as Nu-Metal with much more Rap than Metal.

Worst genre ever...

Doesn't rapcore have to be more...extreme than RATM? RATM are just rap rock or whatever. Or is there no real divide between those two.

Anyway, Candiria always springs to mind for me when hearing rapcore. Terrible band.

nope they are not... they're a rap band who uses instruments and put some metal in their music... but since rapcore is the über crap everybody knows it is I thought it might be good to post a good band

There are good bands in every genre and rapcore has quite a lot of kick ass bands.

That sums up my feelings on the matter perfectly. Well, that and the Karl Logan quote in Radagast's signature.

That Boo-Ya Tribe cover is absolute comedy gold!

You guys are missing out on some good music by shutting out an entire genre like that. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

Well, I have a hard time listening to rap, so I doubt it would be for me. Tell you what, I'll listen to the bands you suggested, then post my thoughts here; don't want to seem close-minded.

One awesome rap group is called Dalek, they're on Mike Patton's Ipecac label. There are MP3s at www.deadverse.com

I guess Cypress Hill counts since they're rap with a bit of a metal edge.

I don't know if I've heard any early Candiria. I figured it would be as lame as anything else since most fans seem to think the band is quite consistent. Is it really leaps and bounds better?

Nah. I'm really not missing out on anything. See, certain styles of music appeal to different people, and just because you happen to enjoy some rap doesn't make you any more right or your opinion any more valid than anyone else's, nor does it mean that your idea of good music applies to anyone else.

Musical enjoyment is subjective. If someone doesn't enjoy a genre, to say that they are "missing out" because they don't listen to it is pretty dumb itself. If I don't like to stab myself with metal hooks and hang from the ceiling of my room, then I'm not going to fucking do it, because it isn't for me. Some guy telling me that I'm "missing out" isn't going to make it any more fun for me to stab myself in the back and hang myself up. He enjoys it, I don't.

A lot more experimental and weird, definately different from this reggae-rock stuff they have now.

Your comparison to physical pain and listening to music is a little extreme! Hahaha. No, I understand certain styles of music don't appeal to people, I'm not saying they HAVE to listen to this music. I don't like country music, nor R&B and jazz, but I would never say I won't give anything a shot in that style, because I may actually like something!! For instance, I think Garth Brooks's "The Thunder Rolls" would make a killer metal song, but I don't like country music.

I just see a lot of people not even willing to listen. You may hate Limp Bizkit and Rage Against The Machine, but you may like Bionic Jive or One Minute Silence. I don't like doomdeath, but I fucking love the Rapture CD by Slumber, you know?

I'm not trying to sound self-righteous here.
