Hated their singer when I first heard them two or three years ago, but they've grown and grown and grown on me and for the last month or two they've definitely been my favourite band. Very personal, thought out lyrics (sometimes flawed and immature but makes up for it by being amazing in other places); great harmonies from the vocals and the two guitars + piano; groovy drummer; intense end-of-the-world hardcore/metalcore breakdowns and shit. Anyone else heard them?

I thought so too at first but they've been around since before No Heroes. There's a Converge poster in one of the videos I posted though.

Their new EP leaked and Sad Stanley is one of the best songs I've heard. The intro is haunting and beautiful too.

Exciting!

Also love how these dudes can write a mean melody even though Jerry's vocals are fairly gruff and not sing songy most of the time.

GONNA KEEP TALKING TO MYSELF because new EP is out and I've listened to it twice.

First Impressions: The piano solo in Snake Oil gets the tingles going big time. Never Dead is a very great and happy and also terribly sad song. EP as a whole is continuing in their progression away from hardcore towards blues.

I'm paying attention. Trophy Scars is so good, imma get this. My fave is Alphabet. Alphabets. but I love everything they've done.

I has a sad, though: apparently Jerry is moving to LA (away from the rest of the band) and they're playing their last show for a rly long time. Effectively going on hiatus :(
