I was told this band is killer but I'm not getting it. Is it a hardcore scene thing to really dig this band in a kind of campy way? Some cool riffs though. It could definitely be a grower.

I never got into them either, although that must be more than a year ago by now. I might give them another try now.

I always wrote them off for being metalcore but now that I can dig that the riffs aren't too bad. I just don't have any positive thoughts on it after a listen, just kinda apathetic to it.

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel about it too. I've always appreciated metalcore, so that was never a problem. And after listening to it I never really felt like I wasted my time because it wasn't particularly bad or anything. I just forgot about it almost immediately. It just didn't make me want to listen to it again.

It's okay I guess. Checked them out years ago, forgot them pretty fast to be honest.

The Funeral Of God is a good album.

I listened to them a bit two years or so ago. Cancer Eater is a really cool song and they had a couple others I really liked but never rly fell in love.

Unless they've changed since like 10 years ago then I assume they're still pretty weak.

Zao are one of the worst live bands on the face of the planet, I remember seeing them open for In flames in 06, and I thought they were a local band from Phoenix. Musically, however they aren't all that bad, but avoid seeing them live unless you like a guy that can't scream to save his life.
