Yes, it's true. Limp Bizkit, after a five year absense and rapidly declining record sales post-Chocolate Starfish, is back with a new album called Gold Cobra, set for release sometime this summer.

Let's all take a moment of silence to mourn this unexpected and unfortunate tragedy.

I like how Limp Bizkit always get more shit than Korn, despite being way more fun and, you know, actually being able to play their instruments. What rhymes with 'gold cobra'?

Looks like joke artwork for a Nile album.

No.

Limp Bizkit is the lowest of the low-- the scum-sucking, mud-dwelling, bottom-feeding, worst-of-the-worst. I can't take anyone seriously if they like Limp fucking Bizkit.

Did I say I liked them? All I said was, they're better than Korn - Jonathan Davis' whine is way worse than Fred Durst's admittedly bad rap, and Wes Borland is a better guitarist than Head or Munter or whatever the Korn fella is.

I'm not saying you said you liked them, but better than Korn? No. Korn ain't all that fantastic of a band, but Jonathan Davis's vocals are fucking Pavarotti compared to Fred Durst's awful nasally squeaky rapping of his persistently insipid lyrics. Wes Borland might be a good guitarist, better than the people from Korn at least, but come on, it's fucking Limp Bizkit. It's the band that put out an album called "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" for fuck's sake. Steve Vai himself could play on their next album, but it'll still be fucking terrible beyond all human comprehension.

I was watching Greenberg last night and right after making a point of making Ben Stiller old and uncool because he likes Duran Duran, they had the cool young 20 year old dude put on Korn. It's like... come on now, people don't actually listen to them anymore. If you're going to make a point of a character being out of touch with popular culture you better not be equally out of touch yourself >:[

Seriously 80s music is way more in than fucking numetal

tldr; Care Biskit.

Korn are the very definition of insipid - what, you're going to ignore all their dreadful album and track titles? Stop being totalitarian about it; both are dreadful bands, but at least LB have some entertainment value.

Thanks for clueing me into your bizarre anti-Nile fetish. Hah, God Dethroned's latest better? Your metal opinion is now almost as irrelevant to me as DW's!

No, Limp Bizkit has no entertainment value whatsoever, unless you're 11 years old and functionally retarded.

Korn has some actual musical value, at least on their first album.

Shutupzad.

I have nothing against Nile, and the comment wassarcasm, but yes I would consider Passiondale better than Those whom the god detest. Far be it from me to assume you judged solely by taste, both bands have been relative stalwarts to their respective styles of death metal. In terms of technicality and musicianship, I will admit Karl and the gang's superiority to God dethroned. By and large however, Nile have been flaccid since "Annihilation of the wicked", and their output has never been as favorable to me as any of God dethroned's earlier work.

Korn have least musical value on their first album. Jeez. They only learnt to semi-write songs later on, Korn being just DUNH DUNH DUNH DUNH DUNH whine whine whiny whine DUNH DUNH.

Someone said to me once that Korn was music for weird kids to listen to whilst they fantasised about shooting their school up, whilst Slipknot was music for weird kids to shoot their school up to, and Limp Bizkit is what the rich kids are listening to whilst the weird kids shoot them. Sums it all up pretty well to me.

Well we are agreed that early God Dethroned is excellent. "The Grand Grimoire" is about as excellent as melodic death gets.

Here's one of the songs of their new album.
