Basic Channel Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, probably some other stuff but that's the only minimal stuff I've heard of his so far. That's all I've got. |

Off the top of my head, I'd suggest Monolake, Vainqueur, Vladislav Delay for the "minimalist techno/dub" aspect. For pure drone or minimalism, I've enjoyed the output of Celer. But I tend to find that drone minimalism can get old rather fast. At the other end of the spectrum, you could always have Venetian Snares pummel you into submission. |

Good stuff. I like this in the evening when I want some mellow on while making dinner. Another recommendation: Murcof. http://www.myspace.com/murcof |

I'm looking for some music along the same lines as Ulver's more experimental electronic stuff. Any suggestions? |

Dark ambient can sometimes be heavier than metal: Lustmord, KK Null, Nurse With Wound, Merzbow, Robert Rich etc. |
