| Post subject: | Best Melvins Album |
Growing up my best friend listened to them and I've been wanting to find some sludge to listen to. Any recommendations? I was thinking about buying either Houdini or Stoner Witch but was going to wait to see what you guys said. |

I was thinking about buying either Houdini or Stoner Witch but was going to wait to see what you guys said. Houdini is a good entry album, or (A) Senile Animal if you want something more recent and catchy. Pretty much all albums awesome, apart from Prick. One of those bands where you discover an album here and there rather than doing it chronologically, but worth it. |

The only full album I have heard is Houdini, and I know that it is generally highly hailed, so I'm guessing that would be a good choice. |
