So far Devin Townsend has produced metalcore albums by Darkest Hour, Terror Syndrome, Misery Signals, Bleeding Through and Becoming the Archetype.

I have heard the last two albums. Bleeding Through was tolerable and BtA with Devy is a step up from their earlier stuff. Are the first three Devy-produced albums worth checking out?

He's produced a lot more stuff; I'm simply not sure how involved he was in the production process for other bands.

I honestly don't like what he's done with Darkest Hour. I don't know how influential he is to their music, but their last 2 albums are a real letdown. Considering I liked everything they did before they joined up with Devy, I can only assume he has something to do with it.

They need to go back to their So Sedated, So Secure style.
