Start with Discharge, who released the best pre-thrash Thrash album ever with Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing, and work from there! You should dig Amebix, think a fairly slow-paced yet a bit thrashy Killing Joke. Crass are much more punk and quite experimental, but a great band nonetheless. Flux Of Pink Indians = punkpunkpunk
