i could never get into that God Machine album because it starts with a sample of the same speach that starts Neurosis's Enemy of the Sun... so for the whole album i'd be thinking of Neurosis... and it just wasn't the kind of stoner rock i like.

Dalek - Abandoned Language

On first track, so far much less harsh than Absense, which is maybe a good thing, but it's going to take time to sink in. Sounds ok so far, though.

I'm experiencing a revival in interest in Lateralus...used to be one of my favorite cd's ever. Not so much anymore, but it's pretty damn awesome.

Pissed Jeans - Hope for Men

Wonderfully sludgy and raw rock n'roll. You won't get it at all on the first listen, but it's surprisingly gripping.
