Goddamn. I just downloaded the Scars on Broadway album, and it's fucking awesome! Daron is such a ridiculously good songwriter! Daron's vocals are great, too, much stronger and more controlled than on the SOAD albums. He still hits a few whiney notes now and again, but overall he sounds great. And I grew used to his whiney style anyway.
Anyway, a very diverse album. Much more dynamic than any SOAD album, I think, and better than Serj's solo album. And that album was excellent!

I hate to admit it, but Daron's singing does grow on you after a while. When I first heard him on Lost In Hollywood, I thought he sounded like Kurt Cobain's evil twin. But after listening to him a couple more times, I found that he actually isn't so bad. Although he's better on Hypnotize than on Mesmerize.
His work on mezmerize was horrible. It was extremely whiney. Hypnotize he kinda found his voice and was alot better and i think scars on broadway is expanding on what he did on hypnotize.
