Probably "Earth Vs the Wildhearts". After that I'd say "Don't Be Happy, Just Worry" and "PHUQ" take joint second place.

Like I said, this is one of my all time favourite bands, so let me know what you think!

(much superior to Honeycrack, btw. Ignore TIE)

mNESS, try both and make your own opinion

Rio, don't be a thought-dictator, please... I know you're better than this...

Thought-dictator indeed

I quite like Honeycrack, actually, but I'm just telling the truth as I see it :P

imo, HoneyCrack are more Beatlesque than The Wildhearts and, considering it, I think it's why I like them better... :D

ok, my description of Moondog-the viking of sixth avenue(don't want to review it here)

mostly instrumental
36 songs (yet 1 cd)
elements of vignets, mini symphonies, madrigals, jazztunes, folk, classical music, chants, swing, tribal music(as a kid he often went to indian tribes) also street noises improvisations.
many self invented instruments like the trimba, oo, yukh or tuji.

beautiful and emotional songs that are very addictive. quite strange lyrics, a short sample of those:" In All, I write in 27 different tempos, in this next number i demonstrate the quarterbeat tempos, one four, two four,...eight four, nine four. And who for, or what for? I don't know"

a description of what style he plays is impossible, i won't even try but i can't end a day before listening a few songs of this cd.

nope, not yet... I heard it was way softer than their previous works (which is not necessarily a bad thing)...

why did it disappoint you ?

NP

it felt kinda de-Garmed. a king crimson metaphor works best though - both albums use the same formula but The Sham Mirrors is Discipline and Sideshow Symphonies is Beat..
