That BT album's alright. The keyboards weren't as smoothly incorporated as they are now, so it gave it a BM feel. They're shit now, of course.

I heard some samples off the new one "The Truth" and they went and added CLEAN CHORUSES ARGHHHHH! In "This is Love" there was very very little clean vocals, and now they are trying to "add it in."I used to love As I Lay Dying beucase it was 95% screaming, and then Shadows Are Security comes out and there is this clean singing all over the fucking place. It's like these guys want the best of both worlds, to have the really heavy parts, but then throw in these types of choruses so that...well fuck I don't know what they are trying to do but it just doesn't fucknig work. The only ones who can get away with that shit is Killswitch since that black guy can actually sing without sounding like a 15 year old.

i think more metalcore bands need to be soft in the verses and more aggresive in the choruses, that would be neato. I was listening to the rage agaisnt the machine cover album in art today, and they do that in a lot of the songs, and its pretty darn cool

I don't know what they need, but throwing in clean Linkin Park choruses aint gonna cut it.

I'm no fan of Bleeding Through, and yes they've gone and done the clean choruses on their new album. I did on the chick, though, because she wears see-through shirst with no bra! Haha.

I can recommend them enough: CATARACT!!

They're badass! No clean singing, just HEAVY. Listen...

NOTHING'S LEFT

They have a new album coming out and it's awesome!

haha best lyrics ever! Yea I know they are pretty crappy. But in this bizzare way that is why I like them. I don't know, ever hear something so bad you liked it?

Personally I prefer Big D & The Kids Table

Quote:
Well first of all
Fuck your fucking attitudes
How can you be so fucking rude
You fucking look at me like when girls are jealous
And fuck your fucking L.A. bars
You're all a bunch of wannabe superstars
Yeah and fuck your fucking act
You're a bunch of dressed-up fucking rats
You get anything you want
Mommy's jobless fucking runt
You're fucking lounging in Daddy's fucking mansion
And all your fucking stupid names
Blair and Tavis that's fucking lame
Z-A-H-C does not spell Zack
What the fuck is with all that?
And you think you’re so fucking impressive
Cuz you can get your name on the fucking guestlist
Raise your nose to the people in line
Give the doorman a fucking high five

Heh, they're actually a pretty cool ska band. My friend's band, The Nerd Who Ate St. Louis, opened for them a couple months ago. They've got some metal influences, and have a pretty sweet Maiden cover.

A ska cover of a Maiden song? That's crazy.

I know a dude who plays in a ska band that does a mean cover of Paranoid.
