Don't listen to much Metalcore but I did like New Junk Aesthetic by Every Time I Die.

I've been listening to Bring Me The Horizon's "Suicide Season" a lot lately.

I've seen this a lot around here but I don't know. They do have metal influences and hardcore influences in their music. I suppose you could just go with the term mathcore. If so I'm not sure what to put as my favorite metalcore album seeing as the likes of bands like Botch and DEP are out, some people would argue against Converge.

DEP is mathcore. Mathcore would be considered an offshoot from metalcore or metallic hardcore as the style of metalcore in the 90's is sometimes called. It's kind of like how technical death metal came from death metal.

Living Sacrifice - Reborn (1997)

They are the reason why half the metalcore bands in the world are christian (ex. Underoath, As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, the Devil wears Prada, Haste the Day, the Showdown, ect), and for the expansion of modern christian metal in general.

Hey, Suicide Season is pretty good man, it's not the typical metalcore album, and it's a much bigger kick in the teeth than their first ones.

They did get a lot better than that one although the only song that really stood out to me as worth listening to again is the title track.

My favourite track is "Diamonds Aren't Forever". At least I think it's that one.

Post-Ire Works DEP could be coined metalcore and it wouldn't be wrong by any means. Or a knock because that is where I started getting into them.

The latest album, The Infinite Order, is a great piece of Modern Death/Groove-Core.

Althoug I really like Armamentarium a lot, maybe even more. I haven't heard Omnicide though.

All their albums are great. Definitely get Omnicide!

I have the album Rising tide of oblivion, definitely solid melodic death and a bit of core in the sound

I have Armamentarium and Let the Tempest Come. I should get a hold of The Rising Tide and Omnicide.
I think they have a new album out by the way.
