Toxicity is a pretty good cd. I don't lump SOAD in with the nu-metal bands for several reasons. a. They don't pretend to be hard or tough, or emotionally instable. b. They don't follow any of the typical nu metal formula's. c. They just generally don't seem to give a fuck what people think of their music, they have a message (usually rather politically charged) that they want people to hear, and thats what matters to them.

I think I can respect SoaD, I mean, their music is acceptable and Malakian has said that he respects the BM scene a lot for the killer music and it's integrity. Actually, Satyricon's Volcano was released in USA through his label EatUrMusic. The new track sounds awfull though....

I never claimed to have made it up, but it is refreshing to know that the phrase is being circulated .

Oh "you all" agreed that Syndrome of a down wasn't nu-metal. I made such a huge mistake by calling them nu-metal I'm so sorry and I don't know how to apologize :roll: .

No it's not the other way around. During the first world war Armenians (who used to have every single right that a Turkish citizen had in Ottoman) stabbed us in the back. They attacked and raided villages. Killed the farmer people who had no defence whatsoever. That includes the town next to my grandfathers. They gathered people in the centre of the town and forced them to dig a hole, them put them all in and burned them alive. My grandfather used to tell me that they could hear the screams from the other town. This happened for some time and then Ottoman government sent some troops over there and drove those treacherous Armenians out of our soil. Of course some of them were killed, it's a fucking war. There was no systematic killing at all. There is evidence that more Turks than Armenians were killed at the time. They are still bitching about it, living a fucking lie. It's been 90 years for fuck sake they should get over it. They are trying to take some compensation from Turkey because they are such a weak and poor little country, this seems their only chance to make their economy better. But this so called "Armenian Genocide" is a lie and they haven't managed to prove it in the last 90 years and they never will.

They are just trying to push their agenda at every chance they have so I don't even see them as a music group. Plus they make some shitty nu-metal. Yes it is nu metal to me and I don't care what you call them.

Why not just enjoy the music rather than letting your obvious bias against nu-metal convince you that the guy doesn't know shit about black metal. After all, nu-metal DOES take a lot of influence from "true metal" (Slipknot cites Carcass as an influence for example).
