That's a fantastic album to sleep to. Everything Richard D James touches is pure genius.

Devin Townsend - Physicist.

How the fuck did I go from owning zero Devin albums to all of the non-ambient DT/DTB full-lengths, four SYL albums and the album he did with Vai in the space of 8 months?

Following a minute and temporary break from financial woe I finally began to explore de world of afro-caribbean music, mon.

RPs

Afro-Cuban All Stars- A Toda Cuba le Gusta (Cuban Jazz- my favourite kind at the moment, and probably the most distinctive regional form)
The Skatalites- From Paris with love (Jamaican Ska, with Ska being played as a form of jazz rather than a form of pop music a la Madness)

They sure are, but for the moment I'm all about the Cubans... went to sleep, and woke up, chanting to myself

Guajira... el son te llama. a bailer, a gozar

I think that means "Guajira (Latin American race?), the son (Cuban music) is calling you, to dance and enjoy yourself"
