sure you can

as long as it's not something like "this band is boring", "this band sucks", "this band is so gay"... those are fine too as long as you add a little more information as why the bands sucks, bores you or shows deviant sexuallity...

Suppose Ken's opinion is that this band are "dreafully boring." What's wrong with that? It was inflammatory, it wasn't pissy, it was just a statement.

I actually hate to look condescending but, whatever, let's leave it to that...

as for Ken's opinion, we all should have read : "dreadfully boring because [insert reason here]" and we wouldn't be talking for ages about something of so little importance... don't you agree ? :)

Can you give a reason for everything you dislike? Can't you just find something boring and say so without having to dig around and qualify it? As much as you may like SR, is it totally beyond you to realise that some people may be bored by the style of music that they produce?

it's not

and yes, I sometimes dislike bands with no particular reason to explain... what do I do then ? I shut my mouth because nothing I'd have to say would be valuable to the debate...

So i take it when all you can bring to a Power Metal thread is "this band is generic" and "for good Power Metal you should listen to Avenged Sevenfold (although I know all you tr00 metalheads are closeminded ROLL ROLL ROLL)" you will just keep quiet in future?

Sigur Ros are quality... though I've only heard one album (I believe the one T.I.E mentioned). I've heard they're pretty trippy in concert as well- anyone ever seen them?
