I bought Americana and listened to it yesterday. I guess I have to take back what I said about it being more poppy than prior Offspring albums. Actually, it's probably faster than Ixnay and ultimately about as mainstream.

And yes, I like Pretty Fly For A White Guy (though my favorite song on the album is The Kids Aren't Alright).

Pre Ixnay on the Hombre they're a great band, but they have a lot of cringe worthy later songs. Blackball is one of my favorite songs.

If the songs from Smash came on the radio, I don't think I would change the station, but I'm not really a big fan overall.
