Its like indie. I think that he is amazing. Kind of like bright eyes, but actually good.

they wont let me run is a good song. I think his best cd is Cellar door, but his new album pixel revolt is pretty good.

wOOt ! Vanderslice is a great talent... all his albums are good and Pixel Revolt is no exception but it's is easiest more mainstream album... so, for those looking for a more edgy indie pop check out the older recordings first ! :D

No, no , no. I saw the V-Slice supporting Nada Surf last week and blergh I was so bored. Every damn song was the exact same tempo with the exact same "widdle" bit in the middle. So dull. His twee banter between songs was pretty grating as well. Wasn't keen on all that wankery by the drummer on his little keyboard-sample box-type thing.

Talking Nada Surf, I've never heard them but their new album looks apealing to me. How is it Radaboombox?

Oh, and people new to Brigth Eyes, chack out Fevers & Mirrors, it's so emo, yet so good.

I've never listened to them before other than a few songs. I only went to the gig because my friends had an extra ticket. I was surprised at how much they sounded like Teenage Fanclub.
