Lately I have been obssessed with alot of the darker side of Avant-garde metal. Mainly bands such as Portal, Enochian Cresent and many other post-black metal bands.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Ved Buens Ende and Unexpect come to mind, you might find them good and "creepy." Some Sigh might help too. Try their "Hangman's Hymn - Musikalische Exequien" album. You might even find "Imaginary Sonicescape" from Sigh also good, although they are more psychedelic than being anything else.

I didn't know Enochian Crescent was post-black metal?

Ved Buens Ende is a strong suggestion.

You probably already know Deathspell Omega, but they're worth mentioning just in case you haven't.

Nice pick.

Reminds me of Woods of Belial. Some black, some doom, some industrial, all creepy.

I just remembered that I have a compilation album featuring them on it to review.

Should be interesting...
