I'd go forward to You Fail Me and No Heroes, then backwards to When Forever Comes Crashing and Petitioning the Empty Sky.

Check out their later work. Their earlier stuff is very very thin, and not that cool at all. Kind of like how Refused were pre-Shape of Punk to Come. Not even close.

When Forever Comes Crashing is a lot more raw and scattershot, but it's still very intense and there are plenty of "holy shit wow" moments.

But yeah, go for You Fail Me and No Heroes first.

WHAT THE FUCK??? Why is this band so good? Axe to Fall might be their best since Jane Doe...sounds more Slayer-ish to me, although they do it about 50 times better. And the last two songs...Fuck.

I know. I was listening to Axe to Fall today and it's like, how the fuck is everything about their music so perfect? The drum beats, the lyrics, the bass tone, the songs, just fucking everything. It's ridiculous.

I thought it was really really good. It was the first time I listened to them and I went back to listened to Jane Doe which was good but I think I prefer this one.
