I came across this band recently and really like them. They are a three man Electric Violin, Drum, and Bass group. Real interesting sounding and they have a reputation for being real loud. Different from what I usually listen too and real interesting. Check out the clips on the myspace page and the website.

I have been listening to this a whole lot at work as it is good music to work too. It lingers i the background until it just flat out demands attention. THis isnt a band I would normally get into, and it isnt a "favorite band" type of thing, but it definetly stands out as something special. I was hoping that some of the people on the board would give it a listen. Maybe some of ht epeople here would be able to draw some comparisons since I cant think of anything that sounds like them.

Yeah I've had it on at work a lot too (like 6 people have said they liked it too! :P). I think they sound like Estradasphere would if they ditched everything except the violin/bass/drums. That's the closest comparison I can think of :P
