If sludge was doom it wouldn't be called sludge. Crowbar is not doom.

Er, what are Eyehategod and other such bands classed as? Sludge i thought

Maybe Crowbar arent sludge

Are you confused?

I dont know. Are Eyehategod sludge?

So, by your rules, theres sludge, sludgecore and doom-sludge (if not more?)

Does Crowbar have any hardcore in it?

(Im such a sludge n00b  )

No, Crowbar is basically the text book definition of Sludge.

Correct.

And I don't think I actually said there was sludgecore and sludge-doom, it was more in jest. I would say that Kylesa is a sludge band, but with some hardcore. Still sludge, though.

And Eyehategod are sludge. And terrible.

All the Eyehategod i've heard was great

Ok, does sludge naturally have a bit of hardcore in it? Or is that just Kylesa?
