Vovin is my fav. album by them. The song "The Rise Of Sodom And Gomorrah" is also one of my fav. and the best songs they've written. I haven't listened to them for a long time now.

Is there going to be another Demonoid ? Riders Of The Apocalypse kicked ass.

EDIT: Now that I gave it a thought my fav. album is Theli, Vovin is a close second.

Yeah new demonoid would be fucking cool.

Lemuria/Sirius B is all I own by them, but I have heard most of their material. I think if I could find it in stores Theli would be my favorite album, Cults of The Shadow = Best Therion song.

I have had Lemuria and Sirius B for awhile now. I hardly ever listen to them, I think this is all incredibly tame. However I liked the fact that they actually used real instruments for everything (There's like 70 people credited in the insert) but it just isn't heavy enough for me. Evidently the really old albums are supposed to kick ass but I have never heard any of it. I did enjoy demonoid thoughl. Although not a perfect album, there really isn't too much wrong with it either.

A really fucking awesome band, I dig their early albums as well (in fact I own a bootleg cd with their demos, and I listen to that too, from time to time).

Johannson is a genius, that is why no matter what he does with Therion it is great. I will admit that thier DM days are near brillance, but albums like Theli and Vovin are masterpieces too. the last two were decent as well.

Some muscicinas like him, Johann Edlund (Tiamat), Ishann, Wrest and others it just doesn't matter, whatever style they choose they do it perfectly.

Seek out Beyond Sanctorum, one of my favorite death metal albums by anyone.

Therion is God. I have seen them live and boy are they fantastic, great fuckin' guys as well. Wine of Alvqah is one the best Metal songs of all time from their Vovin album.

Therion is great. It's a shame their middle period stuff is so hard to enjoy because of the goofy keys.

They're one of the few bands who really should re-record their old material.
