DARK TRANQUILLITY Guitarist Talks About New Album

A 30-minute audio interview with DARK TRANQUILLITY guitarist Niklas Sundin has been posted online at the Danish rock webzine link textRevolution-music.dk (mp3, 8.9 MB).

During the interview, Sundin discusses the band's upcoming studio album, "Character", and their decision to re-sign with Century Media Records, among other topics.

A single edit of a brand new GRAVE DIGGER track, entitled "The Last Supper", is available for download at this location.

"The Last Supper" is the title track of GRAVE DIGGER's upcoming album, due on January 17, 2005 through Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to last year's "Rheingold" was recorded at Principal studio in Münster, Germany and will have a running time of 53 minutes. The new CD is said to contain "more metal, more passion and more power" than the group's previous efforts.

BEHEMOTH: 'Conquer All' Video Posted Online

Polish black metallers BEHEMOTH have uploaded the video for the track "Conquer All", off their latest CD, "Demigod", at this location. The "Conquer All" clip was directed by Joanna Rechnio and "the whole filming session took us about 11 hours," BEHEMOTH frontman Nergal said in a statement. "I believe we did a great job. It's for sure the best thing we have done so far." "Demigod" was mixed by BEHEMOTH frontman Nergal and producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES) at Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden. SLAYER Sampled In New Rap Song: Audio Available

A host of SLAYER riffs have been sampled in a track called "Don't Fuck Wit Me" on the new LIL JON & THE EAST SIDE BOYZ album, "Crunk Juice", due on November 16 via TVT Records. The song, which was produced by longtime SLAYER producer Rick Rubin, is available for streaming online at MTV.com (listed as track #10: "Stop F***in Wit Me").

SAXON's video for the track "Beyond the Grave" has been posted online at Launch.com.

"Beyond the Grave" comes off the group's latest CD, "Lionheart", available now via SPV Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Killing Ground" features a guest appearance on drummer by Jörg Michael (STRATOVARIUS), who has since joined the group as the band's touring drummer. Previous SAXON skinsman Fritz Randow has reportedly left the band in order to concentrate on other projects and may rejoin the group at some point in the future. The album's artwork was conceived by Paul R. Gregory, who had previously worked with the group on the now classic "Crusader" album.

Finland's STRATOVARIUS have posted lengthy MP3 clips of two new songs, Soul of a Vagabond and Find Your Own Voice, via their official web site. Both tracks come off the group's forthcoming "Elements Part I" CD, due on Jan. 27 through Nuclear Blast Records. The group have also made available for download a video shot during the rehearsal sessions for "Elements Part I" and the filming of the "Eagleheart" video clip at this location.
