GORGOROTH Complete Work On New Album

Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have completed work on their new CD, "Ad Majorem Satanhas Gloriam". Next week (April 11-12), the band's bassist and songwriter King ov Hell will take off for New York to sit in on a listening session for the new CD and to give interviews. A summer release via Regain Records is expected.
GORGOROTH reportedly recorded several shows on their fall 2005 European tour with 1349 for an upcoming live album, entitled "True Norwegian Black Metal". MOONSPELL: Release Date Set For 'Memorial'

SPV Records has set an April 21 German release date for the new MOONSPELL album, entitled "Memorial". The CD was recorded at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen, Germany with producer Waldemar Sorychta (LACUNA COIL, TIAMAT, GRIP INC.) and will contain around 8 to 10 new songs, including "Once It Was Ours!", "Blood Tells", "Sanguine", "Finisterra", "Upon the Blood of Men" and "At the Image of Pain". EYES OF FIRE Set To Release "Prisons" On February 7th

EYES OF FIRE's new album, "Prisons" is scheduled for release on February 7, 2006 via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Ashes to Embers" was produced by the band and mixed by Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS, NORMA JEAN). The drums and bass were tracked at the legendary Grandmaster Recorders (TOOL, NINE INCH NAILS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE) in Hollywood. Additional tracking was done in the group's studio in Santa Ana and the record was mixed at For The Record (18 VISIONS, THROWDOWN, DEATH BY STEREO) in Orange. The first 5,000 copies will include a slipcase and a special bonus CD featuring one song, entitled "Home", clocking in at just under 25 minutes. The "It All Dies Today" video was shot with acclaimed director Gary Smithson (EXODUS, HIGH ON FIRE).

GAMMA RAY: 'Majestic' Track Listing Revealed

German power metallers GAMMA RAY have revealed the track listing for their new album, "Majestic", due on September 26 via Sanctuary.
"Majestic" was recorded and mixed at Hansen Studios in Hamburg, Germany. Mastering duties were handled at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland by Mikko Karmila and Kai Hansen. The follow-up to 2001's "No World Order" includes 10 tracks which represent "all of the characteristic strengths of the band's musical career to date," the group write on their web site.
