Dimmu Borgir's Death Cult Armageddon

The new DIMMU BORGIR album will be entitled "Death Cult Armageddon".

The CD, which is currently being mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, will contain the following tracks (in no particular order):

In other news, DIMMU BORGIR are reportedly in talks with CHILDREN OF BODOM, NEVERMORE and HYPOCRISY about teaming up for a North American tour between November 8 and December 16.

PHILIP ANSELMO: Done With PANTERA!

Vocalist Phil Anselmo says that he is done with PANTERA and he intends to focus all his time and energy on SUPERJOINT RITUAL. "There was a lot of business with Warner Bros. and this and that DOWN and PANTERA and this and that, and etc. etc." Anselmo was quoted as saying by MetalIndex.com. "Whatever. Pretty much what I'm doing here is I'm sticking with SUPERJOINT, and I'm not doing fuckin' anything else. This is where I'm most comfortable and this it the type of music that I wanna do, you know?"

More Virgin Steele Music On The Way!

He has recorded and sent over to the Theatre for the upcoming performances 11 instrumental pieces and 18 songs. The project will debut this summer in Germany with Walter Weyers of the Landestheater Schwaben. These works, plus all the others not used but already prepared, make enough material for perhaps the next 3 or 4 Virgin Steele albums. New After Forever E.P. Finished

Dutch gothic/atmospheric doom metal act AFTER FOREVER are "almost finished with recording the main part" of their upcoming mini-CD, according to the band's official web site. The as-yet-untitled effort is being recorded at Excess studios in Rotterdam, Holland with producers Hans Pieters and Dennis Leidelmeijer and is tentatively due in September/October through Transmission Records. AFTER FOREVER's last full-length effort, "Decipher", was released in 2001.

Dio Finalizes Track Listing For New DVD.

DIO have finalized the track listing for their upcoming first-ever live DVD, "Evil Or Divine", due on July 1 through Eagle Vision (a division of Eagle Rock Entertainment). "Evil Or Divine" (view cover artwork here), which was recorded on Dec. 13, 2002 at Roseland Ballroom in New York City and was directed by Ken Botelho for Century Productions, not only includes the full, unedited concert from that evening, but also contains an extensive interview with Ronnie, backstage scenes and the video for "Push", featuring TENACIOUS D.

New Metal Gods 2003 Tour Dates!!

The first few dates have been confirmed for a "scaled-down" version of The 2003 Metal Gods North American Tour, to be headlined by HALFORD and scheduled to kick off in early June. As previously reported, the original multi-band package featuring HALFORD, co-headliners TESTAMENT, IMMORTAL, CARNAL FORGE, PRIMAL FEAR, PAINMUSEUM, and AMON AMARTH was called off last May 2 due to "contractual difficulties."

The newly-confirmed dates are as follows:
