Ashes You Leave to release new album

Croatian doom/gothic metallers Ashes You Leave will release their sixth full-length album, The Cure for Happiness, on November 29 via Rock N Growl Records. The CD, which was laid down at G.I.S. studios with producer Matej Zec, marks Ashes You Leave's first recording with singer Giada "Jade" Etro, who hails from Italy.

Cult of Luna announce new album and European tour

Swedish "art rockers" Cult of Luna will release their first studio album in five years, Vertikal, in early 2013. The CD is said to be thematically influenced by the film Metropolis, a hypnotic backdrop of machinery and repetition.

Cult of Luna will launch a European headlining tour on January 17 in Hamburg, Germany.

War from a Harlot's Mouth release new lyric video

German deathcore act War from a Harlots Mouth will release its new album, Voyeur, on October 19 in Europe and November 6 in North America via Season Of Mist.

Stone Letter, the new single from Tomahawk, the alt-rock super group featuring Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantômas), John Stanier (Battles, Helmet) and Trevor Dunn (Melvins Lite, Mr. Bungle), is available for streaming here. The track comes off the band's new album, Oddfellows, which is scheduled for release on January 29, 2013 via Ipecac.

Tempest, a brand new song from Deftones, can be streamed here. The track comes off the band's seventh studio album, Koi No Yokan, which is scheduled for release on November 13. The group worked again with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who helmed 2010's Diamond Eyes and has also worked on albums by Rush and Foo Fighters.

A Final Vestige, a brand new song from Daylight Dies, can be streamed here. The track comes off the band's new album, A Frail Becoming, which will be released in North America on October 9 via Candlelight Records. Mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Katatonia, Devin Townsend), the CD features photography from Jonathan Mehring and packaging design by Agni Kaster.

Hail Odysseus and Kneel Till Doomsday, two brand new songs from U.K. doom metallers My Dying Bride, can be streamed here and here. The tracks come off the band's new album, A Map of All Our Failures, which will be released on October 15 in Europe and October 16 in the U.S. via Peaceville Records on CD, double vinyl and special-edition CD/DVD. The effort was recorded and mixed at Futureworks Studios in Manchester, England with the band's longtime production partner Rob "Mags" Magoolagan at the helm.
