DIMMU BORGIR Guitarist On SHOCKHOUND's 'Stella Can't Cook'

DIMMU BORGIR guitarist/songwriter Silenoz is featured on ShockHound's "Stella Can't Cook" show.

"I come from a musical background where you don't really have much cash," states Silenoz, "so you have to spend the little you have on cheap stuff."

Check out the video below of Silenoz's preparation of grilled hot dogs with shrimp salad wrapped in tortillas with show host Stella (who is a terrible cook).

Silenoz's favorite countries to eat in are: Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and the U.S.

FAITH NO MORE Reunion 'Confirmed' By MIKE PATTON's Publicist

Former FAITH NO MORE singer Mike Patton's publicist has confirmed that the hugely influential '90s alt-metal band will reunite for a summer tour. At the moment, it appears that the group will only perform in Europe and there are absolutely no plans to tour the States.

The news was broken in the final line of a press release sent late Monday night (February 23) promoting Patton's involvement in the "major motion film 'Crank 2: High Voltage', which listed Patton's upcoming performance schedule, including a stop at the Coachella festival and "the highly anticipated reunion tour with FAITH NO MORE in Europe this summer."

DESECRATION: Video Interview Available

Ruth Harrison of FemaleFirst recently conducted an interview with keyboardist/mainman Tuomas Holopainen of the Finnish/Swedish symhonic metal band NIGHTWISH. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow below.

FemaleFirst: Hey Tuomas, how are things in the world of NIGHTWISH at the moment?

Tuomas: Well, actually, we are on a three-month break at the moment after the first leg of the tour finished last November in South America. The story continues on the 11 of March in London, from where we start our European tour and it goes right up until the end of September; so there are still five of six more months to go.

THE WILDHEARTS: New Album Title Revealed

Long-running U.K. rockers THE WILDHEARTS have completed the demo/pre-production process for their new album. Vocalist/guitarist Ginger states, "we had a blast in Finland recording at Seawolf studios. We even managed to drag our new manager, Virpi, out of engineering retirement to record these songs for us.

He continued, "The styles are very mixed up but this time we've tried to keep the lengths of the songs to 3:30 each. And overall we've succeeded. I think only one song exceeds the 3:30 mark, and that's the last track, complete with run-off riff/melody.

'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Working On New Solo Material

"Metal" Mike Chlasciak (SEBASTIAN BACH, HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM), considered by many to be one of metal's premiere guitar shredders, is currently in the studio finalizing pre-production for new solo material, after concluding a U.S. trek as a sideman axe-slinger for ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach. Bach toured the sheds and arenas last summer with DOKKEN and POISON on the "Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour". An official announcement regarding the project is expected sometime early spring.

In other news, Chlasciak has signed a personal representation deal through his C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, with Chicago's sports and entertainment company MMW Marketing, LLC.
