French melodic death metallers Destinity will release their sixth full-length album, Resolve in Crimson, on November 20 (one day earlier internationally) via Lifeforce Records. The CD was recorded at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (Destruction, Maroon, Hatesphere, Illdisposed, Mercenary, Raunchy, Deadlock) and features cover artwork by Strychneen studios.

Dutch melodic doom/death metal veterans Officium Triste have signed a deal with Hammerheart Records and will release their fifth studio album, Mors Viri, on February 18, 2013. The CD was recorded on several occasions during 2011 at El Pato studios in Bergweiler, Germany. Ronnie Björnström at Enhanced Audio Productions did the mix and master in Sweden.

Stratovarius and Amaranthe will join forces for a "double headline" European tour next spring. The Nordic Nexus of Nemesis Tour 2013 will kick off on March 20 in Munich, Germany.

Norwegian black metal act Koldbrann will release its third full-length album, Vertigo, on January 22 in North America and January 25 in Europe via Season Of Mist's Underground Division.

Italy's black/rock/doom metal outfit Forgotten Tomb will release its sixth full-length album , entitled ...And Don't Deliver Us from Evil, on October 30 in Europe and on November 6 in North America via Agonia Records. The CD is now available for streaming in its entirety until October 22 here.

The track comes off the band's 30th-anniversary album Spiritual Genocide, which will be released on November 23 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf, Germany with engineer Martin Buchwalter and was mixed by Andy Classen. The album features guest appearances by Thomas "Angelripper" Such (Sodom), Andreas "Gerre" Geremia (Tankard) and Ol Drake (Evile). In addition, the Mad Butcher/Release from Agony lineup of Destruction— featuring guitarist Harry Wilkens and drummer Oliver Kaiser — reunited for one song.

Connecticut hardcore/metal masters Hatebreed have inked a European deal with Nuclear Blast Records. North America will be handled by Razor & Tie. The band's new album was co-produced by Hatebreed, Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Suicide Silence, All That Remains, Shadows Fall) and Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold) and is scheduled for release in January. Wilbur also handled mixing duties on the CD, which will be supported by extensive global touring that will stretch well into 2014.

Misery Index and Pig Destroyer drummer Adam Jarvis has launched a brand new project called Fulgora. The group, which also features guitarist/vocalist B.L. LaMew and bassist John Jarvis, has just released a song called Risen (audio stream available here), which will be released later this year on a seven-inch single, also including the track Artifice.

Risen was mixed and mastered by Adam's Pig Destroyer bandmate Scott Hull.

Fulgora's full-length debut is tentatively due next year.
