CRIMSON GLORY TO REUNITE WITH MIDNIGHT, RECORD NEW ALBUM AND RE-RECORD ASTRONOMICA?
15 Jun 2006
CRIMSON GLORY have reunited and have plans to record a new album with original singer Midnight. In addition, there is talk of Crimson Glory re-recording the Astronomica album from 1999, which featured current LEATHERWOLF vocalist Wade Black fronting the band. Black offered his thoughts on having "his" CG album re-done by Midnight: "There's no way that Midnight has the power to do that," says Black. "If they do Astronomica over I think it'll be one of the biggest mistakes they could make in this business. Who knows what's going to happen with that band? It's 2006 and we've heard nothing but stories about how 'Oh, they're gona do this and they're gonna do that...' If they do it I think it's great for the Crimson Glory fans because they deserve it, but if they don't come out of the gate strong with something original rather than a reissue it's going to be a huge disappointment for everyone."
