NEKROGOBLIKON: Debut Album Available For Pre-Order!

The California-based NEKROGOBLIKON is preparing to release their debut full-length, Goblin Island. The band, which is like a cross between 3 Inches Of Blood and Elvenking, needs at least 90 pre-orders to release a high quality (real) CD. They're halfway to that goal. AFTER FOREVER Prepare To Record New Album

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metal outfit AFTER FOREVER has posted the following message on its official web site:

"The upcoming period we will be in the studio recording the new AFTER FOREVER album together with producer Gordon Groothedde!!! It will be our sixth album (including the mini album 'Exordium') and it will be the beginning of a new AFTER FOREVER period with a new label! GREY SKIES FALLEN: New Song Posted Online

New York metal band GREY SKIES FALLEN has released a brand new song, entitled "The Visionary", via its MySpace page. The track "features a dramatic shift in musical styles from our last album, 'Two Way Mirror'," the band writes in a statement. "The song also displays the direction we're heading in for our fourth album, which we hope to begin recording later this year."

In other news, GREY SKIES FALLEN will be appearing live on WSOU's "Street Patrol" show on Tuesday, September 5 beginning at 11:00 p.m. EST. The show can be heard in the New York City/New Jersey area by tuning into 89.5 FM WSOU. Those outside the listening area can listen by going to www.wsou.net.

CHILDREN OF BODOM: Song From 'Chaos Ridden Years' CD Posted Online

The track "Living Dead Beat" from from the companion double live CD to CHILDREN OF BODOM's upcoming DVD, "Chaos Ridden Years – Stockholm Knockout Live", has been posted online at the band's official MySpace page.

Due on October 10, "Chaos Ridden Years – Stockholm Knockout Live" is estimated to contain over three hours of non-stop COB action, including a live concert, videos, and a rare documentary on the band from past to present.

Frontiers Records has revealed the details surrounding the much-anticipated PRETTY MAIDS comeback album, entitled "Wake Up To The Real World", to be released on November 10, 2006.

PRETTY MAIDS is a legendary hard rock/heavy metal combo from Denmark founded in early 1982 by guitarist Ken Hammer and singer Ronnie Atkins.

MARTYR Signs To GALY RECORDS For New Album And Reissues

Galy Records has announced the release of MARTYR's highly anticipated third studio album, "Feeding the Abscess". The new CD was recorded and mixed by Pierre Rémillard (ANVIL, GORGUTS, CRYPTOPSY, KRISIUN) and will be mastered by Alan Douches. A release date is set for October 31. ICED EARTH: 'Alive In Athens' DVD Coming In October

According to Amazon.com and Century Media Records' official release schedule, a new ICED EARTH DVD, entitled "Alive in Athens", is slated for release on October 31. The set is believed to contain video footage recorded during the band's 1999 two-night appearance at at the Rodon Club in Athens, Greece which previously resulted in a two-disc live CD of the same name. A brand new NAPALM DEATH track, entitled "When All Is Said and Done", ahs been made available for streaming at this location.
