UDO Dirkschneider: Accept Reunion is Not ruled out
03 Oct 2003
U.D.O. frontman Udo Dirkschneider recently spoke to Spain's Metal Soldiers about the possibility of an ACCEPT reunion at some point in the not-too-distant future. "Personally we're really good friends, but we decided to try a different way for our music," he said. "I can say that U.D.O. is a successful band. For me, it's a bit [of a] risk [to pursue] a reunion, maybe we will make some shows, an album... Nobody knows what can happen. [It] is a risk, and I [don't] think it [would] work for me, but I'm sure it [would] work for the fans. We stay in contact, we're good friends, without problems, but [to] work again together...? What can I say? I'm happy with U.D.O., I have [former ACCEPT drummer] Stefan Kaufmann with me, and he's very important for the band."
U.D.O. are currently working on their new studio album, tentatively due before the end of the year through AFM Records.
