Metal Blade Records will release the second album by CYDONIA, entitled “The Dark Flower” on the 7th of April! Most of you should remember the band from their self-titled debut album Metal Blade released two years ago!

This second album offers a kind of Metal leaning to the Thrash of the Bay Area, with some hints of electronic keyboard and some melodic power penetrative elements; everything is characterised by aggressive guitar rhythms, incisive bass and drum parts, energetic guitars and by vocal lines capable of alternative strong and melodic sounds.

Compared to the previous album, some changes took place, not only in the musical direction, but also in the line-up of the band: Pete Daniels is the new rhythm guitarist and Stefan Ray the new drummer. The other musicians, Trevor O’Neal on bass and Steve Sguario on lead guitar, have already played on the debut album. The outstanding, unique music is crowned by the vocals of singer and band leader Dan Keying.
