Flowing Tears split with female vocalist Stefanie Duchene
30 Jan 2003

Flowing Tears split in deepest friendship from female vocalist Stefanie Duchene. Stefanie would like to concentrate more on her private life which got more and more complicated to time with the band’s tight release- and tour schedule. The remaining Flowing Tears members are already looking for a new singer. All females who feel they can tread in Stefanie’s steps, please feel free to get in touch with the band.

The follow-up to the last album "Serpentine" is almost written and is supposed to be recorded later this year.

Statement from Flowing Tears:

"During the last 12 months Steffi changed her priorities and together the four of us thought that a final decision had to be made a.s.a.p.

Please note that this is NOT the end of Flowing Tears - it's the opposite. We've made this tough decision to continue with the band and keep up the good work.

Half of the songs for the forthcoming album are already written and we are sure that these songs are the best we've done so far. Right now we are in search of a new female vocalist and as soon as we’ve found someone who fits in 100% musically as well as personally we will continue with 120%. We plan to record the new album this year and we would like to present the new frontwoman live on stage as soon as possible".
