California-based traditional metal act FUELED BY FIRE has parted ways with vocalist/guitarist Gio. No reason was given for the split but the band has stated that "this was [Gio's] personal decision and [we] wish him the best."

FUELED BY FIRE is currently looking to replace Gio with either "a vocalist/guitarist or a vocalist and a guitarist." Applicants "must be committed and dedicated . . . [and] ready to tour AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!"

FUELED BY FIRE released its self-produced debut, "Spread the Fire!!!" in Europe on August 13 via Metal Blade Records (August 10 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

The band has been confirmed for the Keep It True X festival, dubbed Reign Of The Tyrant, set to take place April 4-5, 2008 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.
