CELLADOR Announces New Bass Player
22 Apr 2007

After filling in for the band's shows for the last two months, 21-year-old Mika Horiuchi has been officially named CELLADOR's new bass player.

Comments guitarist Chris Petersen: "After holding auditions for three months we realized Mika was the best person for the band. He showed the most devotion and commitment, having learned all our songs in less than a week, and dropped all his personal commitments at the time to come on tour with us during the month of February. The dude is an insane bass shredder, but also knows how to carry a song well rather than wanking all over the place. It's the perfect combination we were looking for, and the perfect fit for us in CELLADOR. We look forward to showing everyone just how good he is."

Originally from Seattle, Mika previously played in the Washington-based melodic death metal band NETHERELM.

As previously reported, CELLADOR has parted ways with drummer David Dahir. The band will use a fill-in drummer for the upcoming dates, which will include an appearance at the New England Metal And Hardcore Fest on April 28 in Worcester, MA.

If you think you have what it takes to be the drummer in CELLADOR, you can contact the band at contact@cellador.com.

CELLADOR's "Enter Deception" album was released in June 2006 via Metal Blade. The CD was recorded at Mana Studios in Tampa, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL).
