FAIRYLAND: Webmaster Lashes Out, Shuts Down Website
30 Mar 2006

The webmaster for France's symphonic power metal band Fairyland—who once featured ex-Dark Moor vocalist Elisa C. Martin on vocals—has apparently blocked the band's current website (http://www.fairylandmetal.com) due to three years of unpaid domain, hosting and development fees. The message reads as follows:

This website is currently blocked!

Since Fairyland haven't paid the bill for more than 3 years. In fact, they never paid anything: no money for the website developpment, nor for the hosting. Neither for the domain name. They actually are in debts for more than 1500€ for now, and I personnaly lost more than 250€ for 2 years of hosting and 3 years of domain fees.

Fairyland planned to redo their website with another new domain name. The real reason is that they never want to pay me back for what they own me.

So please, don't be shy about downloading their stuff for free on P2P networks since even they are not willing to pay for hard work.

Thank you very much for having read all of this. Feel free to email-me at aniki@fairylandmetal.com for any questions or informations.

Aniki, Webmaster

In 2003, after a few demo releases under different names, Elisa C. Martin joined the band on vocals and they released the well-received Of Wars In Osryhia as Fairyland. Martin subsequently left the group in 2004 and the band has reportedly been working on a follow-up to Of Wars In Osryhia since, but no official word has been made on the album or a new singer.
