Album of the month

Believe it or not but this Austrian band called Stygma IV exists for a long time now, but they have encountered lots of unlucky events (label, band name, etc...). And I am wondering why, because this band deserve to be at the top of the metal division. After the excellent The Court Of Eternity (released under the name Stigmata IV), Stygma IV is back with the same lineup and will explode your brain with their fantastic new album, Phobia.

The singer and the song writing reminds me very much Evergrey (this is a compliment here). It's really impossible for me to point out some very special songs on this CD as especially the first three tracks Isolation, Inhumanity, Dying are played in a perfection that very few bands have nowadays. And what follows is simply perfect.

What a lesson of song writing !!! Always heavy, melodic, sometime fast, sometime slow, this Phobia astonished me. Once again this type of power metal is beautiful, and with such bands, I know the inspiration is not about to die any soon. A must have in your collection. This CD will advance to a chart breaker and I am really keen to see the band's performance live on stage :-)

The cover of 22 Acacia Avenue (Iron Maiden) is magnificent. Ok my dear readers, give them a chance. After all the possible bad luck they have encountered, this band really needs your support. Check them absolutely !!!
