With a singer shouting like Mike Tramp (White Lion's singer) and a rhythm "à la" Bonfire, first song On The Run is an excellent piece of hard rock. Martie Peters (singer of the band) has been surely inspired by White Lion or Bonfire singer, because his warm voice is a perfect mixture of these two singers.

Waiting' In Live confirms my first impression. This song is really cool ... and comes straight from the 80's. It reminds me these hard rock dinosaur bands of the 80's who knew how to write catchy songs & killing chorus. I am talking of White Lion, Bonfire, Brighton Rock, Europe or Honeymoon Suite. This On The Run confirm us there are still musicians out there who like this metal style enough to record some good stuff. I hope Push will continue in this direction.

At the end of On The Run, I know I haven't listen to something really new as White Lyon is very present on this record (too much?) on this record. But that's a little detail, because this record has waked up some feeling I thought were totally dead in my heart. Push has the ability to succeed since they certainly do have the talent. Let's now see if they have the guts to survive.

When hard rock is played this way, it is a dream!!! For fans of Jaded Heart, Gotthard or the above mentioned bands. Now we have to wait for the next one, because I would like to see some more personal stuff to confirm these guys will may be wake up this metal style .... like Hammerfall or Edguy did with true metal.
