It's really good to have some nicely written hard-rock now and then. Since Bon Jovi has been quiet absent for a few years, I certainly appreciated other bands making some melodic hard-rock. So this new album from Balance Of Power is really good and I've been amazed by it on my first listening. The production is very good, songs are melodic and the overall guitar score is also very good, nice riffs, solos and melodies.. what more can we ask ? Well, not much, since the more I listen to this album the more it reminds me of some "old" masterpiece like Kane Roberts's second album or perhaps Steelhouse Lane more recently. And let's not forget the singer which has a great voice. So if you like nice old fashion hard-rock, then you can buy this album eyes closed.

Killing Songs :
Prisoner Of Pride, Under The Spell.
