I fail to see how this is Heavy, Prog, or power.
The album cover is really nice looking though. I'll give the album a chance, she has a decent voice, it was mostly the songwriting and bland music that ruined them for me before. |

Come on, take the 12 Stones dude out of "Bring Me To Life" and they weren't any different than the countless "accepted" goth rock/metal bands out there. Not sure about this album, though. I haven't heard it.

It was Lacuna Coil-lite, and musically, it wasn't very interesting. The guitarwork put me to sleep. I would tolerate it if somebody happened to put it on, but it was all pretty basic to me.
I don't know, but seemingly everything else has..... |

I don't want an argument. I don't. But c'mon, don't try and tell me the chugga-chugga guitar style they use is the same as anything by Epica, Tristania or Within Temptation (before they started imitating Evenescene, of course). |

I said Flowing Tears, a band that sounds nothing like Epica, Tristania or Within Temptation. I'd also add a band like To/Die/For. |

C'mon dude. Everytime I stepped foot into Best Buy or Hastings, they were playing that fucking song. I so wanted to take a flamethrower to their sound systems. It was way overplayed. |

Haha. Indeed. Every single they released was overplayed, but I avoid that sort of thing because it ruins good music. Radio, MTV (or whatever channel plays music), etc. It's just worthless. When radio stations have a playlist of 35 songs, what's the point of even listening?
So yeah, hearing the song constantly would surely make it suck. Not many songs can be heard constantly like that without them becoming annoying, or just background noise. |
