I think we had a topic like this kicking around in Helheim a while ago, but a quick search hasn't turned it up.

So, try to link one band to another via members.
Eg. HammerFall to AC/DC

HammerFall's Anders Johansson played in
Johansson Brothers, whose Jens Johansson played in
Dio, whose Simon Wright played in
AC/DC

Simple.

So to start: link In Flames to Zonata in as few moves as possible (I'm sure there's only one thread anyway ). Person to solve it names the next one and so on.

And go.

Well that just confirms how flat on its face this thread has fallen.

It's a good plan but I find it too difficult

I gotta admit, dude, cool idea, but a pain in the ass. I've already gone through like 10 bands and can't connect the two.

Wuthering Heights' Patrick Johansson sings for Space Odyssey, whose Richard Andersson played in Adagio, whose ex-singer David Readman plays for Pink Cream 69, whose ex-singer Andi Deris sings for Helloween.

Does that work? :?

No. In Flames to Zonata. You linked Wuthering Heights to Helloween?

Oh. I thought we could just link random bands together. I was wondering why you guys were having so much trouble. :?

Zonata’s Niclas Karlsson played in Crystal Eyes, whose session singer Daniel Heinman sang for Lost Horizon, whose ex-vocalist (under the name Highlander) Joacim Cans sang for Hammerfall, whose ex-vocalist Mikael Stanne sang for, whose ex-drummer Anders Jivarp played for, and whose ex-bassist Johan Larsson played for In Flames.

Boo-ya bitches. Thank you Metal-archives.

What do you know? I have this one as well.

I hope so. That would be a sign of good music to come.

No, I mean you can only put so much into a signature. That's why I changed mine. You'll get like one or two more albums and then you'll run out of space.

That's what I'm saying. If I can find two more albums to fit in my list this early in the year, then this is going to be a great year for metal.
I'll just keep it like a top five kind of thing.

You did it a different way to me, but cool.

Erm, Helloween - Symphony X

Roland Grapow is in Masterplan with Jorn Lande who sings in Allen/Lande with Russell Allen of Symphony X.

W00t!
